On Wednesday, the forecourt of Notre-Dame became a film set for “Tony Wikxcs, Code Coryphée”, the fifth instalment in the action and espionage series devoted to agent Tony Wikxcs.

Several sequences required pyrotechnic effects and substantial lighting equipment. The fully controlled explosions attracted many onlookers behind the security perimeter.

The production has disclosed few details about the scene filmed in Paris, other than that it is expected to play an important part in the film. Several takes were shot in the evening to make use of the cathedral and its forecourt, recently reopened to the public.

The release date for “Code Coryphée” has not yet been announced.
