Notre-Dame de Paris has reopened, but an expected object is still missing: the Rosaire de Saint-Martin, which was due to be restored and returned around the neck of the Vierge du Pilier.

An old devotional object associated with several traditions and stories of protection, the rosary was among the pieces expected to return after work on the cathedral. Yet no official announcement accompanied the reopening, and requests to those responsible for its conservation have received no precise answer.

Its absence has surprised worshippers and enthusiasts of religious heritage alike. Is the object still being restored? Was it moved for security reasons? Is it due to be displayed elsewhere? For now, no public explanation settles the question.

L’Église Nouvelle has contacted the relevant departments to establish the exact situation of the rosary and the possible conditions of its return to Notre-Dame.
