01 / Major location
Cimetière du Père-Lachaise
A landmark of Les Tours where memory of the dead, Hecata influence and territorial sovereignty must remain distinct.
02 / Identity
A space of enduring memory within a changing Bourg, crossed by interests without belonging wholly to any of them.
03 / Nocturnal reading
The names, monuments and visits of the Cimetière du Père-Lachaise sustain a memory that the transformations of Les Tours cannot erase. For the Kindred, this relationship with the dead gives the place political and symbolic weight unrelated to its size alone.
The Hecata have significant interests and influence here. That gives them no automatic sovereignty over the cemetery or the twentieth arrondissement. Satomé keeps a firm distinction between presence, influence and ownership of a Domain. The Cimetière du Père-Lachaise remains within Les Tours and under the territorial responsibility of the Bourg.
Mathilda Giovanni is publicly associated with this influence. A Primogen since March 2025, she works with archives, contracts, the dead and inheritances. Paris thus has a recognised Hecata interlocutor, but the clan does not thereby belong to the Camarilla, nor is the cemetery an autonomous principality. Several memories meet here; no authority owns them all.
